If you are a car fan who happens to be like James Bond films, then you are in treatment.
In the 50th 007-year series, the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu and collaboration with EON Productions (co-owned with MGM and copyrights in the James Bond film), a major exhibition of James Bond cars ever become public.
The exhibition runs at the National Motor Museum in Brockenhurst, United Kingdom, from January to December 2012.
There are 50 vehicles, among them the 2008 Aston Martin DBS from Quantum of Solace, 2002 Jaguar XKR with weapons of SFX Die Another Day, 1964 Aston Martin DB5 from Goldeneye and Lifelong Learning 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom of the Rolling Stones.
Beaulieu Commercial Director, Stephen Munn said: "Following the success of the first car show, Bond set at Beaulieu in 2001, we are glad to be back working with EON on the new screen, where the largest collection of Bond vehicles."
I recently did an article on the Popular Mechanics list of 23 reasons why modern cars are better than roditelja.Suština that today's cars are safer, smarter, it will be cleaner, easier and requires less maintenance than a car your parents drive. It is undoubtedly true.
Today's cars have ABS brakes, electronic stability control, satellite navigation, nail painting and engine immobilizers. We also have air conditioning, power everything, radio and many other things that used to price options of modern small car has many of the same equipment that luxury cars were 30 years ago.
There are some things that I miss even. "Autronica eye", a system that automatically dim lights Oldsmobile and Cadillac models 50 and 60 has unfortunately disappeared. And while I, here are a few other things I can not help thinking:
Tata will never be a software update.
Tata BMW full size spare tire and jack, not a good tire repair kit.
Dad's Ferrari was a thing of beauty, unlike the 612 Scaglietti.
Father was never locked out of the car OnStar.
Tata never spontaneous combustion (excluding Pinto to buy in the mid 70s).
And above all, dad had a car's personality all its own. It was not a general, 4cyl sedan with gray cloth interior that the badge of Chevrolet Kia Toyota could bear.
Back in the day, dad, there are companies such as MG and Pontiac, companies large cars for enthusiasts at affordable prices. Now we have a Ford Mustang, which shares many of its factories with an average sedan.
Maybe it's just nostalgia, but I do not think many fans will classic 2005 Chevy Malibu available for fifty years. Really?
1928 Packard Model 533 Phaeton - This is a previous AACA National 1st place winner and is said to be 1 of only 2 surviving Model 533s in this body style.
